Course title: “The ensemble’s repertoire with guitar, a technical and interpretative approach”

Francesco Biraghi, born in Milano, completed his musical studies under the teaching of Antonio Barbieri, Ruggero Chiesa, Oscar Ghiglia and Hopkinson Smith. He soon began an intense career as a concert artist (in particular chamber music), performing in fifty countries.

Alongside his concert activity, he has recorded music for the radio and television and has held seminars and conferences on the guitar and chamber music. Since 1986 he has been a steady contributor to the magazine “Il Fronimo” and has also written notes for concert programs and recordings. Since 2004 he has appeared on video, introducing musical programs for the “Classica” channel on “Sky TV.”
