Enrico Viccardi, nato nel 1961 a Maleo, si è trasferito dopo pochi anni a Codogno, dove tuttora risiede. Si è diplomato con il massimo dei voti in Organo e Composizione organistica al Conservatorio di Piacenza nella classe di Giuseppina Perotti, perfezionandosi poi con M.Radulescu alla Hochschule für Musik di Vienna. Ha seguìto quindi numerosi corsi di perfezionamento con artisti quali E.Fadini, C.Tilney, J.Langlais, D.Roth e in particolare quelli tenuti da L.F.Tagliavini all’Accademia di Pistoia.

L’attività concertistica lo ha portato a suonare per rassegne ed associazioni prestigiose in Italia ed all’estero (Portogallo, Spagna, Andorra, Francia, Svizzera, Austria, Germania, Slovacchia, Slovenia, Polonia, Svezia, Inghilterra, Kazakistan, Uruguay) fra le quali Musica e poesia a San Maurizio (Milano), Feste organistiche di Venezia, Accademia di Pistoia, Colorno, Cattedrale di Cremona, Genova, Festival Internazionale di Trento, Bolzano, Festival Internazionale di Paola, Napoli, Bari, La Chaise Dieu, Lavaur, Cannes, Montpellier, Granada, Festival Internazionale delle Asturie, Barcellona, Andorra, Festival Internazionale di Lisbona, Porto, Isole Azzorre, Città del Vaticano, Londra, Malmö, Leufstabruk, Kazimierz Dolny, Bydgoszcz, Kremnica, Dornum, Uttum, Berlino (Konzerthaus), Hamburg, Neufelden, Alma-Ata, Montevideo. Ha collaborato anche con prestigiosi complessi come il Coro della Radio della Svizzera Italiana, l’ensemble Vanitas, i Sonatori della Gioiosa Marca con direttori quali R.Clemencic, D.Fasolis, G.Carmignola.

Ha registrato per Bottega Discantica, Divox Antiqua e Dynamics; per la casa Fugatto ha invece realizzato, oltre a diversi CD, un DVD intieramente dedicato a musiche per organo di J.S.Bach (segnalato con cinque stelle dalla rivista Musica). Sempre per la medesima etichetta ha intrapreso il progetto dell’incisione degli Opera Omnia organistici di J.S.Bach su strumenti italiani antichi e moderni; recente è invece la registrazione dell’Arte della Fuga sul Mascioni di Giubiasco (Svizzera) per la Radio della Svizzera italiana. Per Brilliant ha inciso le composizioni organistiche di Tarquinio Merula all’organo Chiappani del 1647 di Mezzana Casati (LO); in preparazione è invece l’incisione delle opere per clavicembalo ed organo di Bernardo Storace. Ha registrato un CD per l’Associazione Serassi con musiche di Frescobaldi sull’organo Antegnati (1580)/Giani (2015) del monastero di San Pietro in Lamosa di Provaglio d’Iseo (BS). Ha tenuto corsi di perfezionamento in Italia, Spagna, Portogallo, Svizzera, Germania, Svezia e Kazakhstan. Sue interpretazioni sono state trasmesse da RadioTre, da Radio Clásica Barcelona, dal Secondo Canale della Radio della Svizzera italiana e dalla radio canadese CKRL.

È docente alla Scuola d’Organo di Cremona nonché presidente dell’associazione musicale Accademia Maestro Raro. Direttore artistico dei “Percorsi d’Organo in Provincia di Como” e dell’Autunno Organistico nel Lodigiano, è titolare della cattedra d’Organo e Composizione organistica al Conservatorio di Parma. Enrico Viccardi, born in Maleo (Italy) in 1961, moved after a few years to Codogno, where he still lives. He received his diploma in Organ and organ Composition with first-class standing from the Conservatory of Piacenza, studying under Giuseppina Perotti. He then perfected his skills with Michael Radulescu at the Hochschule für Musik in Vienna. He has also attended numerous Master classes with qualified teacher (E.Fadini, C.Tilney, J.Langlais, D.Roth), especially those held by L.F.Tagliavini at the Italian Music Academy for Organ in Pistoia.

His concert performances has taken him to numerous important cities in Italy and abroad with a special interest in using and promoting the rich patrimony of historical instruments. He has performed for prestigious music festivals and associations such as Musica e poesia a San Maurizio (Milano), Feste organistiche di Venezia, Accademia di Pistoia, Colorno, Cattedrale di Cremona, Genova, Festival Internazionale di Trento, Bolzano, Festival Internazionale di Paola, Napoli, Bari, La Chaise Dieu, Lavaur, Cannes, Montpellier, Granada, Festival Internazionale delle Asturie, Madrid, Barcellona, Andorra, Festival Internazionale di Lisbona, Porto, Isole Azzorre, Città del Vaticano, Londra, Malmö, Leufstabruk, Kazimierz Dolny, Bydgoszcz, Kremnica, Dornum, Uttum, Berlin (Konzerthaus), Hamburg, Neufelden, Alma-Ata, Montevideo.He has also worked as a continuo player with prestigious ensembles such as the Italian Swiss Radio Choir, the Ensemble Vanitas, the Sonatori of Gioiosa Marca with conductors such as René Clemencic, Fasolis Diego, Giuliano Carmignola.

He has recorded CDs for the labels Bottega Discantica, Divox Antiqua and Dynamics; for the label Fugatto has recorded different CDs and a DVD devoted to organ masterworks of J.S.Bach (awarded with five stars by the magazine Musica).  Recent is the recording of the Art of the Fugue on the Mascioni organ in Giubiasco for the Radio of Italian Switzerland. He recorded for the dutch label Brilliant the organ works by Tarquinio Merula on the Chiappani Organ (1647) of Mezzana Casati (LO, Italy); in preparation are the CDs with the complete works for organ and harpsichord by Bernardo Storace. A CD with compositions by Frescobaldi recorded on the Antegnati (1580)/Giani (2015) organ in the monastery of San Pietro in Lamosa in Provaglio d’Iseo (BS) appeared last year. He began the project of recording the complete organ works by J.S.Bach on italian ancient and modern instruments for the label Fugatto with the “Orgelbüchlein” recorded on the Zanin Organ (2008) of the Basilica di San Babila in Milan and other compositions on the “Dell’Orto e Lanzini” organ (2007) in Vigliano Biellese; this year will be presented the third and the fourth CDs in Breno on the “Chiminelli” organ (2002) and in Manerbio on the Amati organ (1856, restored and reconstructed by Giani, 2017). Tournèe with concerts and Masterclasses in Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Kazakstan, Spain, Portugal, Sweden, Poland, Austria, Uruguay.

He teaches organ at the Marc’Antonio Ingegneri association in Cremona; artistic director of the Organ Autumn in the Province of Lodi and of the festival “Percorsi d’Organo in Provincia di Como”, is president of the music association Accademia Maestro Raro in Casalpusterlengo. The Organ course held by M° Enrico Viccardi is open regardless of nationality and age limit to organits who intend to extend and refine the classical and piano concert repertoire.

PERIOD
The course takes place in San Marino from 27th August till the 1st of September 2019.

EACH STUDENT WILL HAVE:
daily lessons of technique, execution and interpretation of the repertoire chosen by the student, according to the specification of the Bazzani organ, 1835 (obtainable on request at mail@enricoviccardi.org or info@sanmarinoartist.com), and the possibility to attend concerts organized by the San Marino International Music Summer Courses.
The selection of students who will perform in concert is at complete discretion of individual teachers.

PARTICIPANTS AND AUDITORS
The applicants may register either as regular students (active participants) or as auditors (passive participants).

REGISTRATION FEE
Active Participants: € 375 including individual lessons and registration fee
Auditors (passive participants): € 125 including participation in lessons and registration fee.
The registration as auditors can be made at the San Marino International Music Summer Courses office during the courses.
The auditors are not allowed to write in their resume to be or have been students of the courses.

ENROLLMENT PROCEDURE. EACH STUDENT MUST:
– register with the online enrollment form. Please indicate in the online form the main course and the teacher with whom you want to study
– The Courses office will give to the students the confirmation of the registration. Once received the confirmation, the students will pay the registration fee.
– Only after receiving the payment of the registration fee the student is considered to be duly registered to the Organ Course
– Deadline for registration: 23rd of August 2019

VENUES
The courses, the concerts and other complementary activities will be held in different venues in the historic center of San Marino.

ATTENDANCE CERTIFICATE
The participants will receive a Participant Diploma and the auditors an Attendance Certificate.

ACCOMMODATION / FOOD
A wide network of hotels / B&B/ restaurants with special prices will be available to students and will be listed on the San Marino Artist’s website;

OBSERVANCE OF THE REGULATION
The participants are personally responsible for any damage they may cause to public or private property, to persons or things, and for any injury or illness they may suffer during or outside the class or during the practice time. The registration to the course includes the acceptance of this regulation. Any claim must refer to the text in Italian. Place of jurisdiction is San Marino.
