Composition

Graduated in Piano and Music Composition (Cuneo Conservatory) and in Modern Literature (Genoa State University). His last pieces have been presented in the U. K., France, Germany, U. S. A.,  Bulgary, Spain, San Marino, Switzerland, Japan, Italy and broadcasted by RadioRai3, Bulgarian National Radio (BNR) and Vatican Radio. Invited to compose music for the European celebrations of 25th Segovia’s death (2012); for the 300th anniversary of Corelli’s death and for the Rossini Opera Festival (ROF, Pesaro)(2013); in 2014 for the concerts celebrating the 250th of Rameau’s death and in 2015 in the events dedicated in Spain to the 500th of Saint Teresa d’Avila’s birth.
“Ramirez” presented his last models of guitars in Pallanza (Vb, Italy) with his music performed by Piero Bonaguri. In October 2015 ALEA Ensemble (Graz) recorded his trio for strings in his last Cd. The music of the Italian composer has been performed in the international music exhibitions in Berlin, Dresda, Lipsia and Frankfurt.
Prized or mentioned in more than 35 international and national composer’s competitions: 1° prize “Francisc Civil” 2007 (Spain); 1° prize Intern. Comp. “Toscana Classica” 2008; 1° Prize “Weimarer Fruhjahrstage fur zeitgenossische musik” 2010 (Germany); 2° Prize Intern Comp. “Counterpoint” 2010, New York; 1° prize  International Competition “Sofia” 2011; 1° Pr. “Simon-Verlag” BV 2012 (Berlin); Finalist Intern. Comp. “BASS” 2008 Parigi, ….
He published his music in Italy and Germany (UtOrpheus, Simon-Verlag BV (Berlin), Berben, Carisch, Sconfinarte, Ars Publica, Vp Music Media, Eco, Hyperprism)
He has been the artistic director of the summer festival “Paesi in Musica attorno al Pizzo d’Evigno” (Imperia, Italy) since 2008.
He is author, with Giovanni Scapecchi, of the liric opera “Magallanes”, requested by José Manuel Nunez De La Fuente, director of the Royal Spanish Foundation “Atarazanas” (Seville), celebrating the 500th of the first circumnavigation of the Earth by the Magellan’s expedition and the recent constitution of the Global Network Magellan Cities. Pope Francis showed great interest and appreciated this project given to him by the delegations of the 12 cities of the GNMC. At the moment the cities involved in the international celebrations amount to 18. The liric opera will be officially presented on 18th January 2016 during the 5th meeting of the magellan cities that will take place in Cebu (Philippines).
Prized by Sanremo and Taggia townhall for his artistic results and awards.
